Built: 16th Century restored in 1999
The house is situated right in the center of the millennial neighborhood of Albayzin, declared a World Heritage site by Unesco, and at 13 km from the airport, 5 minutes walk from the center of Granada, 30 minutes from Sierra Nevada, 30 minutes from the tropical beach of Salobreña. etc.
The property has just under 300 square meters of housing, located in a pedestrian street, with views of the Generalife and part of the Alhambra….
The house is 16th Century authentic Moorish and in its restoration finished in 1999, two expert architects took part: D. Antonio Orihuela (Director of the CSIC in Granada) and D. Carlos Sanchez.
There are only 12 or 13 houses of that period in the capital!
Ground floor: hall, boiler/heating room, small toilet, living room with fireplace, Arabian courtyard with fountain, small storage-room/pantry, Arab hall with coffered ceiling of the time, kitchen-dining room with fireplace, and small rear garden.
First floor: master bedroom with en suite bathroom, fitted wardrobes and small closet, refrigerator and coffee maker. Single bedroom with bathroom.
Second floor: gallery with Arab courtyard, Arab hall with restored coffered ceiling and glazed terrace with views of the rear garden. Small stretch of stairs to top floor which is an L-shaped lounge, with views of the Generalife and part of the Alhambra, with a copy of the original coffered ceiling, and small attic room with sloping ceilings.
