Thailand Property – Best Places

Chiang Mai

Set in the foothills of northern Thailand’s mountainous region, this is an idyllic spot for those who want a more tranquil Thailand experience. It is filled with Buddhist temples and history – lots of it. It also has some of the best weather in the country and offers access to all of the modern conveniences and comforts of daily life, including cinemas and a first-rate hospital.

Koh Samui

If you’re looking for a beach lifestyle, then Koh Samui island is many people’s destination of choice. You can choose from a quiet beachside retreat to somewhere closer to Koh Samui’s vibrant nightlife. Again, quality healthcare is affordable and other amenities on offer come at budget prices.

Some people simply prefer the buzz of city life and Bangkok certainly has all that to offer. It’s a modern and affordable city with gleaming skyscrapers, luxury hotels, and world-class public transport options. It also boasts some of the best street food in Asia as well as top class restaurants and the entertainments on offer here are diverse and lively.

Hua Hin

This beach resort south of Bangkok established itself in the 1920s when the Thai royal family built a summer palace in a beachside location. Thailand’s upper classes soon followed the monarch’s lead and a plethora of holiday homes were built. Expats enjoy its easy going lifestyle, its golden sandy beaches and its ‘la dolce vita’ ambience. Despite it sounding as if it is the St. Tropez of Thailand, it is still very affordable.

Thailand’s largest island is another beach lovers’ paradise. Overseas buyers can find quiet, secluded spots, whilst those who want to participate in the island’s lively nightlife, will find properties that are suitably close to the action in Patong, for example. There is plenty to please the foreigner here, including excellent travel connections and plenty of imported goods in the shops.
