Area information about Albacete

Albacete is a province in the south of the autonomous community of Castilla La Mancha and has borders with Granada, Alicante, Murcia and Valencia. Visitors come to historical Albacete city to view its museums and its Moorish architecture as well as stroll through it lovely Abelardo Sanchez park. Albacete has the advantage of not being overdeveloped and of having lovely rural areas.

There are two popular golf courses in the province – El Bonillo and Las Pinaillas, which hosts a number of competitions.

Albacete does not have any international schools at the moment and most overseas residents send their children to local Spanish schools. However, depending on location, international schools in neighbouring provinces may be within a reasonable travelling distance.
